  • MAXXIS 185/60r17 GET IT HERE!

First, you cannot buy this tire on Maxxis' U.S. website. It is not listed in their inventory despite being promised it would be there last week. However, it IS listed on Maxxis' Canadian website, www.maxxiscanada.com ($230 Canadian, $184 American) - but you can't buy it there either! I'm told they don't ship outside Canada but I could come pick it up. However . . . mine arrived via DHL 15 minutes ago. How you say?

I took a chance, called again next day and luckily was connected to a young lady named Jessie. She told me she could sell me the tire for the $184 price shipping included. She told me it was ok to post her phone number to the clamoring 2002 - 2005 masses. She will sell it for the $184 shipped price.
Here it is: Jessie 905-789-0882 ext 214. Let me know how you make out, please.

By the way, DOT date code on mine is 2317 (week 23 of 2017).

If I still had the original spare tire in the trunk, I would jump on this offer in a second. It's not a bad deal since it includes shipping.

            Vinnie,
$184 sounds like what I paid in 2013 from Maxxis US which included shipping. Then in 2015 I got another for the mint bird but from EBay for around $95 with shipping. Sounds like these tires are getting scarce.

I bought a spare from Jessie at Maxxis Canada the month I took possession of my Retro. She was pleasant to deal with, professional and trustworthy. My new spare was couriered to me on the other side of Toronto 2 days later. $ 230 Cdn. Now that it's in the trunk, there's one less reason to worry...............

I got my Maxxis from Tire Barn last year, for I believe $129. Tire dealers can get stock when individuals can not...

It was on their website about a year ago when I bought mine. Things were somewhat confusing as I got the delivery from the Los Angeles warehouse, even though the office address was in Atlanta.

Well I have nine from 2003 to 2005 so I am waiting on one of them to explode before I get nervous. Both the Firestones have been replaced.

Used and no date code listed. If it's an original tire It will be at LEAST 12 years old. Why bother?.
