I always run with the air on and the top down, in fall I run with the heater on and the top down. That is some of the fun of having a convertible.

Went to the Virgin River Gorge yesterday (Sunday) which is in the very north/west corner of Arizon between Nevad & Utah top down A/C on. Left at 9:30 a.m. and started back at 1:00 p.m. after lunch in Mesquite, Nv. at the Arizona border. Finally had to put the top up as the sun was beating straight down and the outside temperature was 106 degrees. The direct sunlight beating down had to be 160 degrees.

AC on hot days and heater on cold days extends the topless season. Why wouldn't you want to do that!
