    So what's your point? You took the time to vote, you replied twice (which at the time of your post was 2 out of 29 posts or 6.8%). A typical Thunderbird of the Month poll only has around 100 voters and it runs a month. This one ran one day, and has had well over 300 views. That's not bad. Why not just ignore it if it didn't interest you instead of bad mouthing it? (I see you edited your original post, which was more negative and of more questionable motive.)

        Got to agree that Michael Vick is overrated as a QB, I've been saying that for the last 2 years or more. Vince Young has proven that he can throw the ball (with an unusual throwing style) this year by having the best completion rate in the country and hitting 75% (30/40) of his passes in the national championship game. I'd give anything if my Dallas Cowboys could end up with him somehow - I'm really tired of these retread QBs that Parcells seems to go for.

        With regard to the OU vs Texas debate - you have to give OU credit for being better at winning the big game, but last time I looked Texas lead the series between the teams by double figures. I actually kind of like Bob Stoops and now usually pull for OU except when they play Texas. When Barry Switzer was coaching OU - I always rooted for anyone that was playing OU. It about killed me when Jerry Jones hired him to coach(?) the Cowboys in the mid nineties. Yeah, they won a Super Bowl with him as coach but with the team he inherited they should have won 2. That team probably could have won with me as the coach.

          Looks like the game interested a whole lot of people:

          Rose Bowl scores big with TV ratings
          <!-- Highlight Asset Component: /assets/common/img_orientation.comp --><!-- /components/story/elements/story_image_horizontal.comp -->The Associated Press
          Texas' last-minute victory over Southern California in the Rose Bowl drew the highest rating for a college football game in 19 years.

          ABC Sports' broadcast of Texas' 41-38 victory Wednesday night got a 21.7 rating, a 59 percent increase from the 13.7 for USC's win over Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl in last year's Bowl Championship Series national title game.

          The Rose Bowl drew the highest rating since the 25.1 for Penn State's victory over Miami in the Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 2, 1987. The rating is the percentage watching a program among the all television households, and each point for over-the-air networks represents 1,096,000 homes. The share is the percentage tuned in among those homes with TVs in use at the time.<!-- Component: /components/story/elements/story_floating_content.comp -->

            I usually hit the sack at halftime of this big extravaganza every year, but this year I toughed it out and watched it to the end. I'm glad I did, it was one of the most exciting finishes to a national championship football game that I've ever seen.

              Original post edited because I can't spell worth a damn (some things never change)!

              I NOW find it interesting to note how far off a few of the predicted scores were!

                This is why so many people find sporting events to be interesting, exciting, and why people become so passionate about sports..........the outcomes of games are unpredictable. Even the lowliest underdog has a chance to win.

                I haven't been right about anything I've predicted on TBN yet. I picked the Cardinals to beat the Red Sox in the 2004 World Series, I picked Illinois to beat North Carolina in last year's NCAA championship game, I picked the Colts to beat the Pats in last year's AFC title game, and I picked USC to beat Texas in this year's Rose Bowl. This is why I'm still working and not a fat, retired, Las Vegas sports bookie!

                (I predict that the Cubs and White Sox will be in this year's World Series, with the Cubs winning in seven games. You heard it first here. Take it to the bank my friends.)

                  Ray, stick to insurance, it much more statistically predictable...

                    the only way the cubs are getting to the WS is if the sox let them buy tickets.
