Dave, For what its worth I would stay with the OEM with that color combo but it's your car and your bucks paying for the tires so if it were me I would stick with my gut feeling.

Can anyone "PhotoShop" Dave's NM with all the tire options? It would be a lot easier to decide.

1 would not do wire wheels because of the work involved in keeping them up....that being said...true wires and the white walls sure look (as paris would say} HOT...on the red tbirds very very HOT....just mt thoughts

Although good looks are important, performance is equally important. Ford engineers selected the Michelin MXM4 235/50-17 tires to complement the Thunderbird suspension. I just bought a new set from the Ford dealer that services "Annie", got a new Ford Motorcraft Battery too. Total cost with tax and installation came to about $1200. but I am not going to have tire or battery concerns on my upcoming "Road Trip".

Brian Metzger says he's taking his laptop computer along for our ride so I'm sure he'll be posting our progress. D Day is May 26th with no absolute return date yet. We're going to see as many National Parks as possible between Charleston and Yosemite!

I am under the impression if I go OEM, only the HX series is now available from Michelin. Thank would mean I would have one odd tire.

Cal, is that what you got? If not, who waas the supplier, and did you check the mfg dates on them.

Got it from my local mechanic.
