Shouldn't the poll take the model year into consideration, since an '02 will likely have more miles than an '05? I have an '02 that I bought new, and it now has 36,715 miles. And there has been a smile in every one of those miles!
As of 8/30/2010 it reads 2,256 on 2005 Inca Gold.
No rain, hand washed only and if desired could eat off the engine etc. its so clean! Still smells new and we love the car as much as when we bought it new in 2005.
Keith, buddy...time to drive your car!
Don't leave those miles for someone else to enjoy!
Jewel will be 9 years old in November and she has accumulated 62K miles and at least that many smiles in that period of time.
I get a kick out of these threads about cars for sale where people are calling them "high mileage". For a 2002 to be "high mileage" it would have to have over something over 135K (15k/yr). What should be commented on is the extremely "low mileage" many of these cars have. Most of these cars were bought as 2nd or 3rd cars and in many cases are simply "toys" for the owners, so naturally there will be a lot of them with very low miles.
21 years, 174K miles, 48 States X 2 & DC, 9 Canadian provinces, 8 European countries, 3 Caribbean Islands, 3 Hawaiian Islands, 100+ National Park locations, 150+ T-bird events, 190+ retrobird diecasts/models, 13 TOTM pics & some very special friends...THANKS TBN !
I feel compelled to drive mine about 5k a year. Too many low mileage birds on the broken wings thread. I'm over 28k total, added about 10k in the nearly 2 years I've had her. The Shacks helped, lots of miles and smiles.

We bought our 2003 in 2008 with 7,200 miles. Today we have 19,740. After Keystone Thunder I anticipate about 22,000. Other than the dreaded E transmission code, we have enjoyed the car to the fullest. No future worries now that we have an ESP thanks to LOU!
