Re: MILEAGE ON YOUR BIRD 2010

I agree. Maybe a new poll with voting for mileage for each year.

My '03 just turned over 25K just last month.
10K of those miles were on trips to Las Vegas alone!

Put 10k on in the first few months of owning it.

My 2004 Merlot has 55K on it now. I drive it as my daily car and enjoy every minute of it. A lot of those miles have come from road trips (a few of Tom's cruises to Central Florida, down to Miami, etc...)

I have it for sale right now. For a "car" 55K on an 04 is considered low mileage. But if you just want something that sits in the garage and doesn't get appreciated on the road, I have been told the mileage is high.

I agree. Somehow it doesn't feel right that an '02 with just about 37,000 miles is a high mileage car. High mileage? I don't think so. It's not suppose to be like that. But when I look at this poll that's the way it is. My mileage is above the median for the group. I have owned my car since new, and I only drive it on the weekends--never in the rain. Still, I enjoy it. By the measure of this poll, I am driving the wheels off my car!

It is interesting to compare with the 2008 poll though:

                          Oh yeah, the topic

CARTOY now has approx 93,250 mi on her. I brought her home Dec 7, 2001. Most of the (s)miles have been to, and from, TBN events!
