Re: MILEAGE ON YOUR BIRD 2010

Just rolled over to 30,000 on our trip back from Dearborn for the 55th. Been a garage queen since. Mostly drive it for special occasions, events and on Sundays (weather permitting).

Re: MILEAGE ON YOUR BIRD 2010

My '03 had 17,700 when I bought it last year. It rolled over on 40K this weekend as my son and I made a cross-state trip with the top down all the way. Clear blue skies, temperatures in the 70's, and changing leaves to look at on the way to a college football game make a perfect Thunderbird weekend.

Re: MILEAGE ON YOUR BIRD 2010

Mine has 2450 miles on it, and no one has driven the car but the Ford service guys and me in 5 years. The car has no marks, scratches, or nicks in the paint and still smells new when you first get in the car. I don't think it has ever been in the rain, but then again it does not rain much in the Bay Area. I have not dropped the top on it yet because I am unable to store the hard top in my condo's parking spot.

Ben: Get that top stored, put the top down and start enjoying your car. You are missing a great time and the feeling driving it.

We bought our 2002 T-Bird blue car new. It is my wife's transportation and we have approx. 88,000 miles on it. Needless to say, we enjoy our car.

We bought our '05 in April, 2006. It had 11,004 on the odometer.
It just recently turned 35. 6,000 per year for a car that's used only 6 months seems about right.

I think we may have everyone beat lol. Our 2005 has 195,000+ miles on her. She was a daily driver for my wife back and forth to work 160 miles till she retired in Feb. Now I keep her active once in a while back and forth to work 150 miles round trip. She still runs like a champ...other than 4 cops replaced. Also only on the second set of tires. First set went 131,000. This set is still plenty good.
