Yes, through October 1. SugarDaddy has it right.

I just got a 5yr - 48,000 mi. Premiumcare Ford ESP from the local Lincoln dealer. Now, our 2002 T-Bird is covered till September 23, 2018.
If you have a 2002 T-Bird, and you want a Ford Premiumcare ESP, don't hesitate on getting the ESP before October 1!
If my other brother from a different mother figures it's worthwhile to have an ESP I better have one myself. Went to my local Ford / Lincoln dealer today and got a 5 yr 60,000 mile premium care. Covered though 9/25/2018 and 104,408 miles.

Did you get a good price? Just curious. I still have 2 years on both MD & Goldi (both purchased through Lou), but just wondering what I'm looking at in 2015 to add 5 more years.

Not sure if it was a good price or not. It was just a little lower than the lombard ford site than QuickDraw had posted a link to. My dealer has done the oil changes so they knew the vehicle and no inspection was needed. In fact they didn't even need to verify my mileage. Was a very easy and fast transaction.

To ESP or not to ESP--that is the question. You bet is my answer! I purchased my first ESP from Lou and have gotten his help getting a fair price for the second, and am I glad. I only have 8000 miles on my 2002, but it's in the shop right now. Without the warranty, I'm sure I'd be facing a big repair bill. So even though, over the years, I haven't come close to what I paid for the ESPs, I like having peace of mind for the next four years. Even though I don't drive it a lot, as the car gets older, I'm sure it (and me) will need even more TLC. So thanks, Lou!

PS If you're in NJ, I've had some good service/care for my car from Performance Ford/Lincoln in Morris County--perhaps, you'll also find them to be good.

Agreed, the ESP is valuable for the peace of mind, but given my druthers, I'd chose to have cewhite3 for a neighbor instead! That guy really knows his stuff.

No, Ed doesn't have coverage... he doesn't need it. The $100 deductible on each ESP service and the savings from not paying for the policy more than offset the cost of parts he would need.

You're welcome. Always happy to offer pricing, answers and/or advice to any who desire either. My number is below.

Because I work at a Ford dealership I have a big awareness advantage on the types, frequency of repairs and their associated costs. Ford's ESP is like any kind of insurance: No one wants to pay for something they think or hope they'll never need to use, but if something bad happens you're sure glad you had that insurance.

ESP is a personal preference choice. Some want an ESP, others do not. Fine with me either way. I won't debate the pros and cons with those who do not want an ESP. Neither am I on a crusade for my point of view. I simply offer to provide answers an advice to my TBN friends who might have questions.

That said I am happy to sell an ESP to anyone at a substantial discount from Ford's retail pricing. I can no longer do vehicles outside their original manufacturer warranty, but any car/truck that is still under the original (new car) manufacturer's warranty I can help you with that.

Take care, and Happy Thanksgiving day!

No, I have not had to use my warranty on my '03 Bird thank goodness. Now on my '05 Dodge Ram Daytona is a different thing. Just put it in the shop for a locked up rear-end. Est. cost on that is 2 to 4 grand. More than the warranty cost me. Thank goodness I had it..

Just had a repair bill that exceeded the cost of the ESP. Glad
I have it now. was concerned for two years that I wasted my money.

Hoping the engine and a/c system blow out and the tranny fall out ( damn auto correct said granny which won't make wife happy) in the next 10 months.

After taking winter tires off Monday I discovered that while the rear suspension parts were done as previously posted - not the front- parts ordered.

Tuesday the check engine light came on--parts ordered -will be done on the same repair order.

Ok today is Thursday (what a week) and first drive goes to 4000 rpms before first shift ( and big clunking sound) and here comes the big E over the D5 in the odometer panel). Ford Garage just called and they are submitting a cost plan to Ford (line item by line item cost of repair). They believe Ford will pay the approximate $4000 bogey for a re-manufactured installation as it will be cheaper. And ya want to know if I'm glad I have an ESP? After two years of no repairs I thought it was wasted money now..............

I will have a beloved '03 with new suspension, 8 new COPS, and new tranny with 5 months still to go on the ESP. Have to trade plus $4500 for the next one. Looking for Merlot, PCR or Silver in the next 5 months.

(Just looked-ESP expires the day after our return from the Dakota trip).

Well the story isn't over yet but just called the Ford garage and they have ordered a Remanufactured transmission based on Ford's approval.

I have had all 8 cops replaced on Ford's dime and now what will be a very expensive tranny replacement. Wonder what these guys have to get these major items approved so easily. (Maybe company party pictures??)

Jim Dube, how are you making out with your transmission woes?

As mentioned in another post, I haven't installed the SCT Tuner yet. Any thoughts on doing this with what will be this newly installed tranny? Thanks for your thoughts guys.

                                Bill:
Since it is a remanufactured Tranny, there may be some restrictions tied to its warranty, so I would suggest you table the SCT until you see how the new tranny does first

Therefore you do not give them an excuse to not honor the new warranty.

You can always do that after you are convinced the problem is solved and the warranty is over. IMHO
