I feel like I'm the youngest one here and I'm 48.

About 13 years ago I started spending a lot of time crawling around a Honda Prelude, trying to make it into what the T-Bird actually IS. Naturally, I visited two Honda technical forums for performance info, how-to advice, aftermarket product data, etc. The average age over there was about 22. They thought I was an old man.

Pete, You're not a kid here but you are in the younger group that have one of these cars. I was only a few years older then you when I got mine new and fresh from the factory. Enjoy!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the kind welcome, Spence. You're practically a legend around here and I've learned a lot from your past work by reading the archive. I will probably be leaning on you a little bit over the winter, my first performance mod will be a CAI setup like yours.

As for joining the zipper club, my father joined you in 2009. We all kind of knew that the day was coming. He's doing great now, but I started making changes nine years ago because I was on a faster track than he was. I hope it's working, I certainly feel stronger and healthier than I was at 35. I gave up smoking, sugar, most of the alcohol, and lounging.

About the only vice I allow myself now is my car obsession, and I've been away from that since 2005. It's fun to be back into it.

Hey y'all, I have a friend that works for Ford and he said there were rumors at Ford of another T-Bird coming. He said it would probably be around 2015 if it were to happen. He said not all the rumors come to fruition but the majority have. He said he would pass along any more info he became privy to.
