Thank you, I rest my case. Looks like a bad toupee on a bald head, but from the back, it looks great and matches the front lights which is the reason I bought them in the first place. Jury still out if i'll ever put them on, which i'm sure nobody cares, but it was an interesting discussion nevertheless.

If the TBird had come from the factory with bezels, and if they fit like the pictures show, would we have raised a big stink with Ford regarding quality fit/finish?

Thank you, It was my whole reason for bring it up in the first place. I have to run to check on a rumor of bringing back a retro yugo in which all the add ons are missfit. should satisfy some.

Well I have to check my Merlot ,I don't think they fit that bad on it.Maybe they fit better on a Merlot

Not fair. Everybody knows that Merlot paint is thicker.

Most people don't spend a lot of time looking at taillights from the front of the car.
Or take pictures of them from that angle.

Oh,and with all your comments you din't even vote against them????

If you followed my remarks you would know I never said I did'nt like them, I said I did not like the fit. there is a difference.

I too like the look especially from the rear, but the fit on both theese and headlite chrome appear to be high enough above the car to be easily daamaged. And they do look like an add-on

Mine have been on for at least 6 years and the car goes through car washes on a regular basis with no damage or discoloration.

I even bought a second set for backup in case I need them due to a fenderbender.

Great Thread but where were did you guy buy the bezels and would you share the prices paid.
Prices seem all over the place but one thing seems to remain constant and that is the picture.

Bought my first set on Ebay from Qaa for 100+$.

Bought a back up set on Ebay from ?? for $49.00

I can't see any difference in the sets.

poll is closed. I guess it was pretty much a draw. never the less it was a good poll, and proved to me that people went both ways on the likes or dislikes of the look and mostly the fit of the bezels, which is why I asked for the poll in the first place. As for me, I have still not put on my bezels, but I did promise it would be the last time I would bring it up, and so be it. I guess my Canadian friend will be glad to hear this.

I think they look pretty good on my tbird
