Re: Do you access TBN from your phone ot tablet?

I tried to use my ATT Galaxy S a couple times. Last time I was at Costco looking at synthetic oil and I couldn't remember what weight I needed and thought I could just look it up on TBN, but can't get the search to work. When you tap the search, the box comes up, then the keypad comes up, but the search box disappears.

Wish you were running the iPhone software so I wouldn't have to strain my eyes trying to read (or sometimes misread).
Maybe that's the reason for this poll.

PC and Notebook whenever on the road. Only very occasionally on cell phone, screen is way too small.

Julie.....my iPod does the same thing, but if I hit the search button a second time it will work. No guarantee but it may do the same for you.

iPad probably over 90% of the time then the iPhone. Only time I go to the PC is to post a pic.

Gotta love them insightful (inciteful? ) folks. Stay tuned TBNers... there may be nerdiness afoot.

Sorry to have left iPod off... I was thinking phones and tabs. I've added iPod Touch to the list of options.

                  Cheers,

Great, Kevin...perhaps you can change my response from "other" to "iPod".

Re: Do you access TBN from your phone ot tablet?

Constantly checking in on my Windows phone throughout the day. Use the desktop at home and a laptop or netbook when on roadtrips.

I have the same issue concerning the search function when using the phone. The window disappears before anything can be typed.

I have traded in my windoze mobile phone for an android tablet and a dumb phone. I find that now I use the tablet instead of the pc unless I need to type a lot or use a large screen.

                              Paul,

Do you happen to know what version of Windows? Is it the latest "Windows Phone" or an older "Windows Mobile" (and if so, what version, e.g., 6, 6.5, 6.5.5)?

                                Hi Kevin,

It is a Windows Phone 7 that I have had about a year now. It was recently updated to version 7.5. It had the same problem before the update as well.
