In the higher 17,000 range. Just wasn't able to get out on the road with it as much as I wanted to this year. And now that I have my 2005 back also I would have to divvy the pleasure up between the two, for next season. Though I will be driving my '02 till there is snow on the ground, likely sometime in December here in Wisconsin.
It would be interesting to know what the highest mileage is for an 02. We know there are plenty of low mileage ones, some still in double and even single digits. I'm guessing there must be some out there past 150K, well on the way to 200K.

Oil and filter change cheapest insurance you can purchase for any car.
Been using 5,000 mile oil/filter change intervals with Mobil 1 synthetic for almost 30 years in all my cars and never an engine problem related to oil; really never an engine problem period, but I haven't dealt with COPs yet. With the quality of oil now and the better built engines, 3000 mile oil changes are a thing of the past. I think almost every automotive expert agrees except those that market oil changes for their own pocketbook. I've got a car now the Mfg. requires oil changes a 15,000 miles/1 year intervals so I will probably have it done at 7500 miles.

Ah! We have the same purchase date in common. My '02 was manufactured on October 23, 2001 and purchased by me on November 19, 2001. I now have 39,714 miles on the odometer.
As we know, Ford sold about more than 30,000 units in 2002. Seeing the poll and your comments, we may expect to see many beautiful Tbirds 2002 still running on the road for the next following 10 years in North America. That will be the same for those having this car the years after.
I noticed that the existing Tbird owners are taking care of their toy! whatever the millage is. I am happy to see that.
You can be proud of having this limited edition in your hands. This car will be a winner in the years to come among those not having known this Tbird story!
