Re: Impact of the economy anf the gas price.
Drive it and enjoy it more. I don't drive it enough (28K miles in 10 years) for the price of gas, even premium, to be much of an issue. Eventually, it will go to my children, then grandchildren, etc., for as long as they want to keep passing it on. Then they will have to decide at what point fuel, upkeep, etc.,gets to be too much. I've asked them that if it gets to the point that it is too expensive to upkeep, or no one is interested in it any longer, that they find a good home for it.Last edited by Skip; Nov 9, 2011, 06:04 PM.sigpic

Re: Impact of the economy anf the gas price.
I have a Toyota Prius for the week days and winter months, I drive the Tbird on weekend in the summer so its a fun summer car and gas isn't a factor with the miles I put on.

Re: Impact of the economy and the gas price.
Since retirement we only drive the Bird for TBN events. Cost of gas isn't a factor that's why I have a new Focus that gets 30mpg around town and 38 to 40 on the road for our every day driver. They are Here. Scotty, beam me up!IT'S 5 O'CLOCK SOMEWHEREVisit the TBN Store
