We will be enjoying it as we have in the past. Too much fun to worry about our $ 5.00 a Gallon cost .

It's been paid for 7-years so gas prices are not an issue. I'll just have to worry about mechanical issues w/age:).

Gas is an issue as a daily driver, but enjoyment trumps that.

Drive it and enjoy it more. I don't drive it enough (28K miles in 10 years) for the price of gas, even premium, to be much of an issue. Eventually, it will go to my children, then grandchildren, etc., for as long as they want to keep passing it on. Then they will have to decide at what point fuel, upkeep, etc.,gets to be too much. I've asked them that if it gets to the point that it is too expensive to upkeep, or no one is interested in it any longer, that they find a good home for it.

I plan on keeping my '03 Bird to enjoy driving it and looking at it.

That is why I have a OLTIMR tag on the back of the Thunderbird.

i drive it 1500 miles a year so the cost of gas has no impact but when I purchase my next family car I will buy a hybrid.

                        I'll keep it, for now.

Gas isn't a factor with the miles I drive, but expensive ongoing maintenance concerns are.

I have a Toyota Prius for the week days and winter months, I drive the Tbird on weekend in the summer so its a fun summer car and gas isn't a factor with the miles I put on.

I drive my '02 on average about 4,000 miles a year--enough to enjoy it but not enough to worry about the price of gas.

Since retirement we only drive the Bird for TBN events. Cost of gas isn't a factor that's why I have a new Focus that gets 30mpg around town and 38 to 40 on the road for our every day driver.
