My '04 renewal w/personalized tag was $350. ($275 tag fee/taxes then $25 mfg fee and $25 annual fee for personalized tag)

Our 2002 cost us: Wildlife agent fee 1.00
Wildlife mfg fee 19.00
standard tag fee 20.00
2004 ad valorem tax 339.64

total fees paid 379.64

Good luck !! They fed us the same line in VA, until the Gov changed parties. So Registation and vanity plate about $55 then another $1200 big ones for the CAR TAX

Bottom line from Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrnold believe it when you see it and then doubt it.

Maybe a little off subject but compare your insurance to that of a mustang. My agent said that I did not want to know. That makes me feel a little better about the high tag fees.

I just got back from renewing my NE plates and the total was $640.25. The clerk said "whew" when she saw it & I asked what that was about & she said I had the highest renewal so far today.

That's one area that I don't want to be the highest in!
