Re: Freedom Tower, or Twin Towers?

Ya know, I kinda like this design the best. If you look closely, there is a subliminal message to the terrorists right there in the picture. What? You can't see it? Here is an enhanced version of the picture...

And I apologize in advance to those more sensible folks who may be offended by this version of a Bird...

This one is better than the original "Freedom Tower", but I still vote for rebuilding them.

True, but at least it does kind of resemble the towers.

lol, Phil I like your way of thinking!!! I think the latest design is the best compromise of all possible designs. The building kind of looks like a faceted version of the towers. There will be two parapets at 1362 and 1368 ft. as were in the original buildings. I don't believe the original buildings should be rebuilt. Its a new century, we need to move on with a new New York skyline icon.

I saw on TV that the design has a lot to do with strength. You can bet that the number one priority had to do with withstanding a similar attack. I personally like it better if this is to be a reflection of a better, stronger America.

I would prefer them to be rebuild in exact replica. But whatever, just DO SOMETHING!

I agree, time to stop crying, and clawing our faces, and show the world what we're made of, REBUILD!
