Idea for a New Forum

<DIR>Folks, As we get older we tend to accumulate stuff. Often times we want to get rid of some of the stuff we have accumulated; some of us can use the stuff that someone else no longer wants / uses. Most times we're willing to pay for the other person's stuff. Thought it would be great if there were some way for us to buy & sell stuff to each other. Would you participate in a forum to sell / buy non T-bird related stuff / anything to each other? Not only could we use this forum to sell and buy stuff from each other but to let each other know if they know of someone that is looking to get rid of something that one of us is looking for? All business would be conducted via private e-mails, I'm looking for X, member A has X and is willing to sell it, member A shoots me an e-mail and we take the particulars off TBN. Violators would be locked out of the forum. Cast your vote / post your opinions.

This venue already exists under "classified" on the "forums" page. It was used as recently as today.

The existing "classifieds" forum looks to be related to Thunderbirds only:

Classifieds
This forum is for buying, selling, or trading Thunderbirds, accessories, or collectables.

Maybe Chuck, or someone, could get the Justins' approval to have it expanded to include other items as well ??

A sub forum under classifieds would probably work as it's done under the Events forum but I wouldn't want to see non tbird items mixed in with tbird items - it would be hard to find tbird related items then. I'll just stick with ebay anyway.

I think it's a great idea. Sounds quite ambitious.....you'd need a lot of subcategories I would imagine. (Items for Sale, Items Wanted, Auto, House & Garden, Tools etc.) I think I would prefer this forum to ebay.

You can start me with '76 Eldo Covertible Parts......I've got a ton of them!

I have enough women's clothes in the attic and in storage to provide a partial wardrobe to everyone here in Long Beach! ( pop. 60,000 ) Some ( or most ) with tags!!
