    Heavy Heart Mitzi Sturgeon

    It is with heavy heart that I inform all of the passing of Mitzi. She has been my wife, best friend, mother to my children and Thunderbird navigator for 41 years. She had fought a tough battle with melanoma and alway wanted to let people know that sunscreen and hats are an important part of our Thunderbird travels. The memories that we have gathered over the short time that we have know our Thunderbird Nest friends have been some of our best and she has always loved going to the events and getting to know everyone. So please all put on the sunscreen, remember to reapply and don't forget your hat.

        Ted, my sincerest condolences to you and your family. And thank you for relaying the message of sunscreen protection - melanoma is a growing concern, we all need to be serious about constantly protecting ourselves against the sun's rays.

              My sincere condolences, Ted. Praying that you can find comfort and solace at this difficult time.

              As a fellow melanoma victim, I would also recommend regular full body skin checks by a dermatologist to spot things as early as possible. I probably wouldn’t be here today without such a screening.

                      God bless you and your family in this time of grief, Ted. Mitzi was such a pleasant lady, we will all miss her. Thanks for relaying her wishes for us to protect ourselves from the sun's harmful rays - it shows how caring she was for others while dealing with her own health issues.

                            So sorry for your loss, Ted. Mitzi was a wonderful person and we enjoyed seeing you both on our many TBN adventures. Prayers and condolences on your loss. She will be missed.

                              As a lucky one, who has survived the BIG C, (3 major times, all 28 years ago), I always have a sad heart for those who do not beat it.
