Hello Paul & Rosetta, We are so sorry to hear that Rosetta has more pain. She certainly didn't need to break her heal - as the knee was just starting to heal.... Can't believe it happened to such a lovely lady. We know Paul will take excellent care of her, there is no one better than our husbands to care for us gals when we are down. Prayers for both of you. Love you both, Dennis & Judy

So sorry for Rosetta. And for you too, Paul knowing how much you all enjoy travel to Thunderbird events.

Her new injury is very weird to have occurred on the same side as the first injury and to have it happen to close to being able to be without a knee brace. Very strange, one for the record books.

Well she has our positive thoughts and prayers to a speedy painless recovery.
                  Mike

Last Thursday in a very freak occurrence she broke her heel bone on the same side as the knee cap that has been slow in heeling. She said she could hear the bone pop and then had tremendous pain. I'm sure she did as she simultaneously let out the loudest scream I think I've ever heard from her.

Today we got good news and bad news from the orthopedic team and the podiatrist. The good news is after all this time, ortho is letting her take the leg brace off so she can start bending her knee. The bad news is the podiatrist scheduled her for surgery tomorrow to add two more screws to her growing collection. Guess her foot was jealous of her knee. So this means more time of complete non-weight bearing and dashes our last hope of getting to attend the Sarasota event.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts and prayers.
Sorry to hear this Paul. Tell Rosetta to get well soon from Susan and me.

Thanks to everyone for their well wishes. Finally got her home from the surgery, 9+ hours after we got there. The procedure took less an hour of that. She's doing well. Dr says it went as expected. She's resting now. She's going to be real hungry when she wakes up.
