Thanks to everyone for your prayers and good wishes. They mean more than you know.

Rosetta's surgery went well, although her kneecap was even more busted up than expected. She is home and knocked out from anesthesia and pain meds. She generally has slow recovery from anesthesia and is very susceptible to narcs, so she may not be too with it for awhile. I'll keep you updated.

No one knows better than I the power of prayer & positive thoughts from everyone on TBN. Possibly it is due to the fact that TBN is full of wonderful caring people.

All the best to Rosetta & Paul. You both have our positive thoughts & prayers from Southeastern Washington.

Keep in- mind healing is a slow process, going to take a lot of patience on both your parts. But if gets too much let us know & will send even more & stronger positive thoughts.
                Mike

I guess you'll have wash and detail the bird yourself till she is back on her feet.

Many thanks to everyone. Rosetta has done well today. The doctor put her in a brace, much like the ones football linemen often wear, that is locked at 30 degrees. This takes a lot of pressure off of the joint and decreases her pain quite a bit. She's graduated from the bed to the recliner in less than 24 hours.

Another thing decreasing her pain quite a bit is a great nurse, cook, dishwasher and launderer.
