It seems I make this request way too often. First, Mildred has two small cancerous lesions on her liver. She has just finished her second of six Chemo treatments. It appears to be in the very early stages and her initial prognosis is good.
Now for the kicker.... I have Pancreatic cancer. Last Feb. I was diagnoised with diabetes when it was in fact the early stage of cancer of the pancreas. I recently finished 28 treatments of low level chemo and pinpoint radiation. I go for a scan Sept. 9th and should know the 10th. if the treatment was effective. I have been limited to 5 minutes per day exposure to direct sunlight because of the chemo. I haven't driven the T-bird since early May. That should be considered cruel and unusual punishment.
Please send your positive thoughts and prayers for Mildred. She can make it fine without me, but I wouldn't last a day without her.
