  • R.I.P. John Markowski “SKI”

This morning on Facebook, Mary Markowski shared the passing of John. He was a longtime member of TBN, with great a fabulous sense of humor. Health concerns forced his sale of his tbird, but he was a car guy through and through. Please keep Mary in your thoughts and prayer as she has suffered much family loss.

”This is Mary, John's wife. John passed away at 2:10 this morning. He is now with his son and daughter, his Mom and dad and his mother in law and father in law. And of course his grandparents. John had a good and successful life. He loved his family especially the grandchildren.
As per his wishes he will be cremated and there will be no service.”

I grabbed a couple pics from his profile.

Remember John from back in the day, nice guy for sure. My very faulty memory seems to remember that he had a medical emergency during the 2nd TBN event at the Shacks in Mississippi. Again, I could be completely wrong as the old brain doesn't seem to work as well as it once did.

Prayers for Mary and the family in this time of grief.

      RIP John.

Paul, your memory is spot on. He did make a side trip to the hospital at that event. I enjoyed meeting him back then, but connecting and keeping in touch with him over Facebook was so nice. He had a wicked sense of humor and my heart goes out to Mary at not only the loss of John, but earlier the loss of two children taken way too soon.

So sad to learn about the passing of John. Mary and John are both awesome and kind people. I haven’t seen them in several years now, my thoughts and prayers are with Mary and the family.

Miracles happen now and then. I usually can't remember to come in out of the rain.
