Pro Football is Back

Well, sort of I suppose. The new XFL debuted this weekend. I caught part of a game and it was better than I expected. Lots of cast off NFL players and quite a few new rules. The broadcast was also different as you could listen to the coaches sending in the plays. Here’s a summary of the new rules:

I like football as much as the next guy but feel that Pro Ball from the end of August to the beginning of February is sufficient. Enough already!

Gene, today's newspaper is saying that Manfred is talking about expanding the playoff teams so that almost half of the teams make the postseason. ENOUGH ALREADY! Who wants to watch the World Series on Thanksgiving?
