Well last year it came down to a "Hail Mary" pass on the last play of the game to down Duncanville. This year the week before the state Title game the starting QB for Duncanville got hurt and could not play in the Championship game. That was the killer again for Duncanville they went on to lose 31-17 the second time the two met for the State Title large school Classs 6A Division 1

Crazy thing Duncanville ranked as one of the Top High school teams in the Nation but does not win the State Championship in Texas. I can say yes on the comment North Shore has won back to back State Championships.
