Nascar, Horses, but no Indy?

There's interest & conversation in NASCAR (contests), and the Triple Crown races, but few comments about the Indy 500 - only a single thread in 2005 and another in 2013. I'm not a "must-see" fan of any of these sports, but it seems strange that other car lovers on this forum don't have more interest in this major American automotive event.

I watched the race on tape delay. The last several laps were exciting with quite a few lead changes.

Congrats to Sato, good going, you beat a great Indy driver in the end.
