II don't know what a paid endorsement refers to, I always watch the car shows on the Velocity channel, although some have way too many ads. I record them and watch later skipping over the "dustless, rubber, floor and chrome" ads which take up 1/2 the 30 minute show.
Dennis was here in 2006 and did a show, which aired in 2007. He spent three days here and I was his contact. He is a true gentleman in everyway, he posed for pictures, signed all kinds of items, and talked to anyone who came up.

Do you have a recording of that show, I missed it. Probably because I didn't get my first Tbird until August of 2006. Note I changed my Avatar to Roxy my new "older" but less traveled '04 TR. She now has the 7 spoke chrome wheels and Michelins from Annie.

Fun video. It was nice to see the dedication to Trane there at the end.

Thanks, I enjoyed the show and it was touching to read the memorial to Lt. Col. Trane McCloud at the end. I wish there had been some Thunderbirds in the show, but I'm biased. Some weeks Dennis does a show where he visits one collector and drives one or two of their cars. Now that's what I'm talkin' about. After Wisconsin Thunder I visited Elizabethton and Ron performed a Driver's Seat exchange for my "Annie". It was after that visit that I thought a segment profiling Ron and his Tbird collection would make a good "My Classic Car" episode. His collection of cars and parts is remarkable and so is his love for Trane. Ron, you and Liz are good people!

I was touched by the memorial tribute at the end. So many give so much so we can have what we have. Now I think I'll have to visit Elizibethton, it looks like such a nice town with lots to see and do. Ron you have much to be proud of. Thank you.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. I was visiting Trane in 2005 in D.C. helping him work on his 1959 Retractable when he mentioned that Dennis Gage was in town. I said I would like to go see him and invite him to come to Elizabethton for one of his shows. Trane asked did I have anything to show him about the town and show, my answer was no. Trane then went to work and produced a brochure that would have made the Chamber of Commerce very proud. We took that to the show and met Dennis and as it turns out he was very impressed. He called in the winter of 2006 and made arrangements to do our annual show in Elizabethton that year. We did ourselves proud and had over 1,000 vehicles for him to choose from. That we were picked was remarkable in that Dennis was getting offers for over thirty events each month to visit. Without a doubt Trane's brochure made the difference.

I've been here over 5 years now and have seen Ron's collection steadily grow. I just thought Ron was going down the road trying for one of each color.
Looks like that isn't the case. Ron where do you see the hunt ending and what colors do you not ever see being in the nest?

Ron for the newer members, this might be a good place to re-post that article on your cars that appeared in (dang I forget where!)
Well I sure missed something. Who is this guy, 4lowbirds+8. (Pictures please.) Were ya good Ron? Did Santa Claus come or did Liz have a few dollars she didn't know what to do with.

Still think Ron will have one of each color before long!

Pictures and hints were on the site, it is a totaled Cashmere from California with 38,000 miles, both tops and correct boot, #408. No structural damage and no air bags deployed, so it is an easy bolt on fix with parts from the Katrina VMG.

Ron once told me he didn't want a Desert Sky Blue, but I know where one is that will be for sale very shortly.
