When I start my "03" I hear a buzz from the radio speakers behind me. It only lasts a second or so but it buzzes even if the radio is turned off. Anybody know what's going on or how to fix this annoying problem?

This could be a real booger to solve. I'm thinking that a good place to start might be to completely isolate the radio from any electrical feeds to make sure it is completely dead. Even though the radio is off it still has power to keep the channels programmed etc. If the radio is completely disconnected and the speakers are still picking up noise that would be an indicator that the problem most likely is external to the radio such as a noisy electrical component located near the path of the rear speaker wires. If the problem only exists when the radio is powered but not turned on, then it is most likely a bad component within the radio. I'm certainly no expert on these type of problems but since no one else has chimed in, I thought I would offer a simple place to start. -- Good luck and let us know what the actual solution turns up to be.

Ground loop issue? I solved this a couple different ways on cars in the past. Cleaned and made sure the ground was good fixed one. Another one I got a special antenna wire mounted filter thing from ebay for $10 or so and fixed it.
