      HELLO ALL:

I am new to this forum. I have a 2002 thunderbird with 9500 miles on it. I bought it new.

In the fall of 2017, I had problems with the dashboard not lighting up, the driver side power door lock not working with the remote (the switch on the door worked fine) and difficulty starting the engine. I took it to a local Ford dealer and the replaced the dashboard and it still did not light up. They replaced 3 different computers and a fuel pump and finally got it to work.

I've always had a battery drain problem and was told by another ford dealer thatyou need a battery tender to keep the charge up.

I've put about 300 miles on it since that major repair and noticed that the cruise control does not turn on (i.e., the icon on the dashboard does not lite up when the toggle button on left hand side steering wheel is pushed). It does not lite up when you begin to start the engine (everything else comes on and then goes out when car is started. I also tried a panic stop to see how the anti Lock brake system (ABS) works and it did not. The car just locked up the wheels and left rubber marks on the pavement. are these related? This car has been a real pain since I got it and I am considering selling it. Any recommendations would be appreciated. I do not get any service engine indicator or ABS failure notification on the dashboard.

      Thanks
