I was poking around under the hood today thinking about replacing the coils and there under the air cleaner snout in the middle of the engine was a huge wad of stuffing! Pretty well hidden, with a few hickory nut shells! This is a concrete floor, finished walls garage with a half dozen mouse traps set with peanut butter. I need to get more creative dealing with the mice. --- Alan

Take a peek under the intake manifold. That's where I found acorn shells last spring!

Watch out for the wiring. Last winter l had to repair a wiring harness above the gas tank thanks to those little buggers! It was quite the challenge trying to track down why my car wouldn't run. It appears that Ford (and others) have gone to a soy based wiring that the mice just love.
I also still have some dog food in the hood of my car that slides around every time I open or close the hood. I guess I should go back out to the garage and check the traplines.
Cheers,
Warren

The best trophies are miles on the odometer, stone chips in the paint, dead bugs on the windshield, and the occasional smell of manure.
