I found the Ford TSB related to this problem, TSB 04-22-13. Besides telling the mechanic to change the front wheel speed sensors, it also instructs the mechanic to drill 1/16" vent holes in the back of the bearing housings below where the sensors are located. Has anyone had any experience with the holes drilled? I plan to change the sensors after the holidays, but am reluctant to drill holes in the bearing housing. Unfortunately, if some of you had the sensors changed by a ford dealer, they may have drilled the holes without your knowledge.
