If I lived where this happens and I had no garage I most likely wouldn't have a car. gsx snow.jpg

IF that's a real GSX then that is a real shame. Even if it is a nice clone, it's a real shame as those Buicks were really nice looking cars and some of my favorites.
    21 years, 174K miles, 48 States X 2 & DC, 9 Canadian provinces, 8 European countries, 3 Caribbean Islands, 3 Hawaiian Islands, 100+ National Park locations, 150+ T-bird events, 190+ retrobird diecasts/models, 13 TOTM pics & some very special friends...THANKS TBN !

Having that Buick parked on the street covered with snow is sacrilege.

I have no garage, and my car generally resides under a car cover. It gets driven in the rain, covered with pollen, and pelted by acorns. One does what one must, and makes the best of it.

I am with Richard. I did not buy any car at anytime that I was not going to drive. It is -34 here in Park Rapids, MN this morning. Should my Toyota Avalon fail to start (it is in an open car port) then my Bird comes out of the garage this AM to take us to church.

My new '17 Jaguar ($63k) and '17 Genesis ($55k) sit out in the driveway, ba(s?)king in the Florida sun, while the $12k? Tbird is sheltered in the garage. And it's a two-car garage, with the rest of it filled with worthless "stuff". Go figure.

Guys, I did not post the picture and make a comment to be judgemental of others in any way. I think if someone chooses to park their car in four feet of snow for months on end or in the blistering sun most of the year and/or other potential damaging conditions that's completely up to them. I simply said I probably wouldn't have a car if I had no garage.

We live in an area where $80,000 motor cars sit in the driveways, baking in the hot Arizona sun, while their garages are filled with junk that MAY be worth $1.99. As the French would say: c'est la vie.

I live just south of Erie, Pa. where they have had over 7' of snow since Christmas day. Spring seems a long ways away.

I agree with Jim. I've owned my car for nearly 6 years and she's never sat out side overnight.

In my opinion, myself included, we are way over protective of these cars. around 1000 of them sat in the Wixom Plant Parking Lot when the 2002's 1st came, out waiting to resolve water leak and computer problems. They sit at dealerships outside all the time. Remember they are only sheet metal and fiberglass and are repairable and replaceable.

Had a small scratch in the bumper that I took in to have fixed before NOLA in October. . Been going to the same body shop for years. October, no snow, no salt yet. Owner damn near hollered at me for driving it as much as I do.

Don't you know that "that is a classic son!" was ringing in my ears. He was genuinely concerned that I didn't know the car's collectability. "Duh " he said. "Two-seater, convertible, v-8. Do THEY MAKE THEM ANY MORE?" As if I was totally stupid!
