  • Seat Replacement

Here is the new/old seat I got and the original sitting beside of it. It's in a little better shape then the one I just took out.

Dang, what a difference. Now what do you do with the old ones? Ebay for a partial recovery of your investment? Are just the inserts damaged?

Don't really like giving advice to a guy that has lived almost lived 70 years but would say to not put the macethe in your back pocket!

I got the new pair of seats for a little over $300.00. I'm holding onto the old ones in case the newer ones go bad and I can then have the old ones recovered and still be able to use the car.

That's quite the refurbishment, Spence. The "new" seats look great. Congrats to both you and Judy. $300 was an amazing price. Someone on eBay has a set of black NOS '02 skins for both seats priced at $1400.

The new seats are going to look great. A new set of reclining bar stools for the tikki bar.

They look good Spence...... Fortunately I have never had to replace seats in a car in my life.

Those old seats were definitely showing their age. The new seats look fabulous; and for $300 that is a great bargain too.

Spence have got to think those new seats will last a good long while. Does anyone know what the estimated cost would be for just the inserts?
Black would appeal to most buyers and doing the inserts and selling them on EBay might just make the new ones a freebie.
