My son is looking for suggestions on audio input devices for a 2003 Thunderbird for an Android. As long as it has an input line he can add Bluetooth to it inline. I have a device that I bought years ago from Neo Ion, it came with male and female harnesses that I believe go to the steering wheel controls off the radio, this then went to a box and then an Ipod. Also looking for a phone mount that I bought years ago that utilizes the holes in the dash next to the radio for mounting.

I have a direct input for my 2003. Had to buy harness and adapter box and even made my own input impedance adapter with Radio Shack audio transformers to boost input of Android. Will do a little searching tonight for brand. If I had to do it again would settle for new radio with usb and bluetooth.

If you are looking for a dead simple aux input, I still stand by a FM modulator. If you get more complicated, might as well go for a new radio. IMHO

(More brands than this one, just shop around.)

Yup, especially in populated areas, he's considering an FM modulator that plugs into the antenna but I'm not familiar with the quality on them, I know it's better then the wireless version.
