  • Hood Release Lever

Friday night and the itch to change something got the best of me again. Found another use for Plasti Dip and Glossifier.

Mustangs are where I got the idea. First Mustang I saw with the yellow plastic-tip lever was 2005. Ford stopped using the plastic-tip lever in October 2005 (early 2006 Mustang production) when they de-contented the part.

Ford should have done this to all Thunderbirds.

Good idea! But why is it necessary? Can easily feel where the release is located. And there isn't any sharp edges. Pretty basic cost cut by Ford.
