I saved a "55" tire and bought a wheel but our main man Gene says that a mounted "55" will not fit in the wheel well. Damn, the best laid plans of mice and men.

Yes, but the key word is STOCK. A 55 series tire is NOT stock.

I was looking for the Maxxis spare tire replacement but can not seem to find the size T185 60R 17. Has anyone seen the M&H ROD-11R M&H Drag Radial Tire 185/55R17 from Ebay? Is this a suitable tire??

Never mind... this is a drag slick. They recommended the
Kumho Solus TA11 radial tire in a 185/60R15 part number 2182523. Does not seem right since it is a 15 not 17.

I think this is the Maxxis tire on their website. I don't have my car anymore so I can't check. Price is a lot more than $79.

Sounds about what I paid when the price gets converted to Canadian. Pretty good deal.
