My daily driver is a 96 Lincoln Mark VIII and my son's daily driver is a 93 Mark VIII. They just keep on going! Bought his 9 years ago when he was a Sr in high school for 2600 bucks or so. Only had 73k miles on it too.

In Phil's defense he has to maintain his publicly claimed ownership of his six Malibu estates and five Beverly Hills mansions (or maybe it was the reverse - five and six). Then again he might threaten to sue everyone who doesn't buy from him.

Brad, have you been cautioned by more than 10 or 11 people? If not maybe those were just his tenants.
Harry, Hate to say it but I agree with you.

And today I get an invitation to join Phil's "INNER CIRCLE" - for only $354 a year I can have access to Phils vast supply of parts at a special discount. The inner circle is limited to only 100 members so I am really flattered to be invited. The invitation was pretty long and was designed to induce fear in Thunderbird owners because they wont be able to get any parts and wont be able to even sell their car because it wont run. But Phil's 100 inner circle members will get the parts they need, problem solved for only 97 cents a day.

            Wow.... what's the term? Chutzpah?

Greg, no, no history in the making, Spence and I are kindred spirits... we sometimes fake conflict to spark excitement and interest in TBN.

Harry, I guess you got the same email I received the other day to join Phil's private parts club.

                Hi All

I will say something positive: His book is a great idea. if you choose not to read almost every post here for the past 15+ years (like I have), you can save time by buying his book.

There are many tips shared here that, I hope, he has included.

Knowledge is power...if you don't want to be a victim of unanticipated breakdowns, you have the option of buying his book.

                  .
Really? That's quite a sales pitch for a book. Is that guarantee in writing?

I did but through Mutual of Omaha, not Phil.
