    Re: Register Your Thunderbird!

I see the registry link and found my vehicle there, which I don't remember registering (although my memory is pretty "porous"). Additionally, the VIN is not correct. How can I change this?

    Thanks.

      Paul,
If you go to the home page and click on Register your Thunderbird, you should be able to change the info.

As a new member, I tried to register my vehicle. I clicked on submit and the screen blinked, then returned to the registry page I had just filled in. I believe I filled in everything.
        What happened?

This just happened to Me as well. Not sure if it took with Letters in the VIN so I put in all Numeric, still nothing. Went right back to the page I just filled in.

          Re: Register Your Thunderbird!

Due to the resent site problems of being down, the registry is not working at this time. It will be back up one day soon.

The registry is working. For all of the new members and others, be sure and register your car.

How many PCR's are listed? Is there a way to see the numbers of each color/year of T-bird?

                      Re: Register Your Thunderbird!

I looked at the photo albums that Mark has posted way back at post #2 (July 15, 2005) in this thread. There are some great pix of retro 'Birds as well as a few of the original 'Bird. Now, here's something that has me baffled--the Biloxi Living Legends Tour seems, according to the date, to have taken place in 2000, 2 years before the retros were available. And yet there are quite a few retros pictured on this tour. Time travelers? Or maybe 2000 is not the correct date. Who can explain?

Will, we were at the Biloxi tour with Mark and Laurie. 2000 is a typo. The tour was in July 2001.

Will, Sixpac is correct about the corrected date - the Living Legends tours took place in the summer of 2001 - when Ford had a number of preproduction cars available to show about the country. Ford started their preproduction period in March of 2001 though official production started at the beginning of June 2001. Then there were the 5 cars that Ford had at the introduction of the 5 colors in January of 2001 at Detroit. Ford also had a number of cars available for the press to try out in June of 2001.

Ah, now I understand. Thanks for setting me straight. When Einstein said time is relative, I guess he was talking about T-Birds.

                              Hello,

I'm trying to register my birdy and hit the submit button, but not accepting it. Is there more that I need to do?

                              Thanks,

I will check to see if you are registered. At times it seems like your info did not register when it actually did.
