  • What's it worth?

Yesterday at a large car show in West Fargo, I was parked in the Ford lot. The owner of a Yellow 02 came to talk to me. He's selling his 02 with 67K asking $15,900. He bought the car a year ago with 66k miles for $17,000. He also owns a 65 Mustang. I told him his price was fair..maybe a little high..

The warm summer weather is a good time to sell it in North Dakota.
I was born there; in Minot. However I consider Las Vegas more my home as I've been here 40 years.

A friend sold his Merlot with around 50K on it a few months ago for $14,500. I thought that was a fair selling price for both buyer and seller.

If its in good/great condition that price is fine. Well cared for and maintained is a must. I really think these cars will go up over time. IMHO

There are more black and red cars for a reason.... more people like them. Other than planned limited editions, I'm sure Ford would need happy make more of any color if they were ordered. Some things are rare for a reason .... buyers didn't want them at the time or dealers didn't want to take a chance on the color.

In the RAMDOM USLESS FACTS thread I think I broke down the number of colors ordered directly by the customer vs ordered by the dealer but it appears the data tables got scrambled with the new TBN software... May it can be corrected?

EDIT: Another table well worth correcting... looking back at that thread there was a lot of interesting data lost to reformatting. Like this one: http://www.thunderbirdnest.com/forum...829#post784829
