At Last...my new love has come along

I finally have my 2004 TBird! My husband likes to tease me about my fascination with the car. Claims he is going to have to paint himself mint green and sport some chrome to get some attention from me from now on.


Saw a 77 TBird when getting gas so I parked next to it to snap a picture. A walk down memory lane. My 1st bird was a white 78.

Bought a bonsai from Brussel's Bonsai (wife was owner previously) Thanked her for making my day by selling me this beauty. It wasn't easy for her and I can understand why. Nice folks!

Thanks to all ! It was a long wait but was sure worth it. I will be the third lady to own this gorgeous car; but "Ruby" (after my late mother) will stay with me at our nest from now on. She needs a little TLC here and there in spiffing her up. She has great potential and I am certain we will have a loads of fun. Sure feels good being in back in the driver seat of my very own TBird again. I am really loving the color....

Congrats, Lynne! With only 709 possible other VMG retros out there you won't be running into another one very often. Of the retro pastel colors available it is by far my favorite.

When I add up the numbers provided by Harry and Dot, I get 614. Maybe I goofed. If 614 is correct, wouldn’t it be the second rarest color after Inca Gold?

Ooops. Typo - I meant 609. I believe that 612 was the number I've seen posted. Two of the VMG cars were painted pink by Ford of Europe for the Thunderbirds movie in 2004, leaving 610 total.
