Who Owns more than One Retro?

Number of T-Birds one owns doesn't really matter. What matters is the original owner of one Bird and how many miles they have put on that original T-Bird they bought. That is a T-Bird Owner. ~~~~~~~~~.

It's interesting that I bought my first retro Tbird new at the dealer in 2002 and have driven one as a daily driver for the past 16 years logging over 300k miles yet I don't qualify as a "T-Bird owner"

I got lost in the fine print.. why don't you qualify as "T-Bird Owner"? Is it because you don't have just ONE Bird? Or because you don't still drive that original Bird? Or?

I assume I'm not a T-Bird owner because I'm not the original owner of my current Tbird (bought with 3k miles) AND I'm not currently putting miles on the original Tbird I brought (double whammy). I wonder if I could apply for Tbird "enthusiasts" status since I'm also the proud new owner of one with 245k miles.

May I suggest for those that must differentiate : Original owner: Gold.... 2nd owner: Silver 3rd owner: I would take the bronze! And so on...


It truly sounds like a lot of hoopla over nothing to me.

Reality check: Besides, anyone in my family would attest that my TBird owns me!!!!

I am near the lower end of the list with only 138,000 miles on my one and only Bird. Having the $$$ doesn't matter to buy a few but how much you use or drive that Bird does matter. You can have many T-Birds but if you don't drive them who cares. I drive mine and enjoy it. It doesn't sit in the garage and collect dust. It gets driven and enjoyed to the fullest that extents for owning a car like this. Drive and enjoy your car.

Not so fast ... don't be surprised if you get the following answer from some of the "long-timers":
a) No, you haven't been a member of TBN long enough to be a true TB owner, or
b) No, you haven't attended enough TBN events to qualify.
Some of them can be a bit finicky (maybe depending on if they've had their morning coffee or not).
