My soft boot just does not have a "full flowing fit" .(Don't know if that statement makes a dang bit of sense!) Has anyone added anything to their boot to make it fuller, more prominent, smooth? Foam rubber batt maybe? Looking for suggestions.

Bill, I have used a couple microfiber towels under the center of our '02 boot where it folds to even out the fit. Works well.

Bill, which soft cover do you have? The original or did you have one re covered to match your interior saddle seat inserts.
A possibility would be to have a upholstery shop open the cover up & put some filler in it. The drawback to this may make the cover more difficult to close up to store if you put the soft up or the HT on.Mike

I think Bill is referring to the vinyl one he had made to match his interior. I have a black vinyl one from TBC and it sags. I've tried small travel pillows under it but it still didn't please me. I've seen people use towels as mentioned above; perhaps I'll try towels next summer. My factory boot looks the best but it is fading some and the cloth is somewhat wrinkled which is why I tried the vinyl one.T-Birding it's the only way to fly!

I have used the towel method with some success, but I think a slice of foam rubber is the easiest and most effective solution. Just the right thickness and density will be a challenge fer sure.. The only piece I have on hand is too stiff / dense so I'm still looking.
