Yes, Bill, this is Tanya. She is very frustrated as she paid for them in full over a year ago and was initially told they were “in process of being made”. She had hoped to have them by the New Orleans TBN event a year ago. She says she has tried to make contact but told to be patient. But website says”now available”.

Pony up Phil I used to have Phil's phone number a few years ago. I do believe that some members still have his number

He gave me his phone number, but it’s the same as on his website.

I find it hard to believe that if LA Phil is lurking on TBN, he would want to clear his good name, one way or another..

Still no response to a simple question about an item listed for sale on his site. Looks like this business has flown the coop.

So sorry to hear that Steve, i had a very bad experience with this vendor, had to file a complaint with paypal to get refunded. Then got a threatning e mail from him, saying i was baned from his company, and i'd hang dry without his " original parts",, well guess what, i'm not... and get them cheaper .

Better Business Bureau?? Are they still in business of going after disreputable firms?

The BBB was never in the business of going after firms. They offer to try an resolve a complaint between consumers and businesses and log a complaint as resolved or unresolved. Companies have to pay a fee to have the BBB logo attached to their name. With the increase of free online reviews, forums, yelp, etc: become more popular more businesses don't see any point in paying for credibility when you can get it for free using other online channels.

I agree that you should have had your merchandise or money refunded long ago, unfortunately the BBB can't get either.

                      How about small claims court?

Greg as many know after many months of discussion with Ford over a bad transmission replacement it was only after a courtesy call to the V.P. of Ford Powertrain Engineering that I received any satisfaction. (small claims submission told me I need to name a person not the Company).

Ironically it was Phil who gave me the name and number. Obviously, I'm a fan of the small claim court process. A little time and just a few dollars. Go for it Tanya!

Problem is that once you win and get a judgment you still need to collect. In this case I suppose our could encumber the five mansions in California.

Somehow this has got to be Steve's fault. If she was a good friend he would have taken here by the hand and gone to a local upholstery shop.

of course who could beat Phil's price? Seriously I think Phil probably made a good faith effort to add this to his product line but guessing he has had problems with his supplier. Sure doesn't absolve him from doing the right thing and return her money. This is why I always use a credit card for purchases of this magnitude. Assume Steve she paid cash.

Steve what is Tanya's last name. Would it make any sense to mount a campaign ( using the contact button at Thunderbird Specialties)
for many of us to ask Phil to do right by her. I'm relatively sure (based on previous e-mails from Phil) that he is lurking on the sight and is seeing this thread. He doesn't like any of us (cheapskate) TBNers so maybe not . Thoughts?
