To return to topic, the issue is: What can be done to receive the seat covers that were paid for, or what steps can be taken for a return of payment from the business. There is also the question of if the business has ceased operations. Short of legal advice, it looks like what advice can be given, has been given.

Tanya’s last name is Ringland. She ordered the seat cover reproductions over a year ago hoping she would get them by The Big Teasy in New Orleans a year ago October. She is beyond the year timeframe to hope to have some recourse with the credit card company if that is what she used rather than paying cash/check....not sure. If fellow TBN’ers would like to post on Phil’s Website to lend “support” to Tanya, that is a great plan. Thanks for the idea, Bill. Phil’s original excuse for the delay was that they were still in the “development/production phase” and was “experiencing delays”. But as stated earlier, Phil’s website says “they are now available “.

Hello to all who have responded with reference to my pending order for seat replacements with Phil. Thank you for your efforts on my behalf!
just to let you know that Phil contacted me directly to let me know that my seats are coming forthwith. Yippee! A year is a long time to wait but once I get them it will be well worth the wait!
i’d like to correct the perception that I asked for a refund and was denied. Not true. I have been waiting patiently.
I have ordered stuff from him in the past and have not had any issues. The seats were a bit more complicated due to Ford and licensing.
So hope to see many of you in Atlanta with my new seats!

I just spoke with Greg Ordus, Ordus Ford in Battle Ax, MI. He told me that Phil bought a lot of what he had left in stock, and he has never had a problem with Phil.

It is amazing, all the twists & turns this thread has taken. It is amazing all the conversation, much with a dose of negativity & much by people who had absolutely no idea what communication was going on between the buyer & Phil, but regardless they had some unhelpful remark to make.

So you think it’s fine to pay for a product, not receive it for over a year, and have the seller tell you not to contact them anymore? Awfully funny that they suddenly materialized after bad publicity here. Up until now I have been a defender of the man. That is no longer the case. At best, this is extremely poor customer service. Shame on Phil, not the posters on this thread. All they did was support a lady who was being treated disrespectfully.
