Claude you still don't get it. It's the journey to the goal that you win not the destination, dying ends the game, no trophy.

Knowing that you lived life to the fullest, having all the fun on the road of life that you could possibly squeeze in is what it's all about, not a bunch of toys left behind.

Giving to charity is noble, but do it now and enjoy it's rewards.
Buy toys with the rest and enjoy the short time we have left on this planet.

You say you occasionally drive aggressively so that must be fun for you, but until you smoke the tires, drop a tranny, or blow an engine you havent tested you limits or the car's.

            Good news and bad news.

            Bad news first:

Sorry, but only the trainer and the cut man are allowed in the corner. No toys allowed.

            Good news:

With the no holds barred attitude you have for living, Dean Wormer has readjusted the odds to you in two.

Hope you are training hard, Claude.

John, I guess I still don't get it. I have blown an engine and ruined a transmission on my 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 with a stick shift and 312 cubic inch TBird motor when I was 19 years old and didn't have ---- for sense. I would not get one bit of pleasure out of that now; especially in a nice piece of machinery like the current bird. I feel I live life to the fullest, but it doesn't include deliberately abusing a vehicle - especially one that really will be difficult to replace. Sure would hate to buy a vehicle you owned on a used car lot.

Bruce, since you are in John's corner , I want to know which Tbird you want to blow the motor in just for the thrill of it? I hope not your new inca gold.

I never said to delibertly blow your engine or tranny but those things happen when you test you limits. Testing you limits is the adrenline rush not destroyng things.

one that really will be difficult to replace.
First you don't have to replace the car because something broke that's what replacement parts are made for. Second at last report there are about 6000 unsold new Birds and probably twice that many used still for sale. There will be enough Birds to out last both of us even if I destroy a few along the way.

John, talk about who has ---- for sense. You prove it to me every time you post. You almost had me convinced about living life to it's fullest, but if you are any kind of driver, you know when you are about to destroy something. You indicate your cars usually end up in the junk pile so you just proved my point. You are the most juvenile sounding person. If I had not seen your profile, I would think you were 15. Be careful what you say about how you treat your "toy". You might offend the majority of people on this forum that have to work hard to pay for their Tbirds and don't look at them as disposable "toys" but as great daily drivers.

Claude everything in life is disposable including both of us. If you don't take a you will be disposed before me.

John, I am going to chill. I am thankful for two things today - that we are not neighbors and/or coworkers. There is no way we could ever exist in close proximity with each other without coming to blows.
