John, we are just about the same age so the only reason you have not heard that term (scratching off) must be because you are not from the south.

Spent 9 months in Florida when Uncle Sam found a worse place than 'Nam to station me for my last duty station.

John, Florida cannot be too bad now. The population there is exploding. Panama City is great when you are not dealing with hurricanes.

Yes, we were at Bristol...check my avatar for the NASCARBIRD, that's our car specially set up for track day during ThunderFever. 50-55 in turns, 60-75 on straightaways...those curves come up fast on that 1/2 mile oval...

My wife drives our daily and I drive it as much as I can. We love the feel of it when we are driving, we love the compliments we get when we park and pull up to a light,
we love the waves from other motorists including bikers, but mostly we love everything about our bird.

I could have used our bird as an investment but why should the person who buys it
have all the fun. I am still planning on keeping it as beautiful as the day I bought it so it will be worth something, even though not as much as garaged, but then if my car was garaged, I wouldn't have all the neat memories my bird is dreating for me now

Well.......I have had to make my Platinum Baby my every daily driver since Monday. One more day tomorrow. My wife's car is in the shop. She asked to take The Bird to work....... I filled the Hyundai Santa Fe up with gas and put it threw the wash and gave her the key.

I was just watching Top Gear a show on Discovery channel.

The were teaching four ladies 70 to 80 years old how to do 360 burnouts in a Honda S2000. The 80 year old did them the best. LMAO

John, you probably noticed the ladies were not using their own cars.

No but I'll bet at least one of them will try it in their own car if they have one to show their friends they can do it.
