I took my 2005 out in the rain today (for one of the first times ever) and the windshield wipers stopped dead in their tracks after about 5 minutes of driving. The 3 amp fuse appears to be ok. Any suggestions about what might have caused the wipers to stop?

Can you hear the wiper motor running? If not, check the power cord & plug to the motor. Perhaps the wiper linkage mechanism came loose & jammed?

There is also a circuit breaker for the wiper motor ( 17508 ) . Located in the front underhood junction box . relay number F1-24 .Originally posted by frankrshults View PostComment
