I put the narrower trim on that fits under the hardtop gasket, and love it. It seems that the hardtop fits tighter, and the stainless trim looks great against the black paint.

come on over & take a look at the trim kit, then you can see for yourself how it appears & whether it is for you or not.
Sounds like a plan! Let's try for next spring when our HT comes off

waiting until Spring is okay but I think you need to see the Trim Kit as it is with the HT on as well as take a drive to listen to how the kit has quieted down the street noise & rattles.
Then in the Spring see it again.
Did I ever take you up to the submarine Triton's sail memorial just north of our house? Be good short ride to hear or not hear the HT.

          Hey Bob!
Seriously come on over. I'll take you up north of us towards the Hanford Site but still in town to see the USS Triton submarine sail. It is much larger than you can imagine unless you have seen a sub's sail before. It is there as a memorial to the boat that sailed around the world underwater. Since it was a nuclear powered boat, its decommission reactor is stored & buried out on the Hanford Site.

Then you can see & hear the difference between your T-Bird and mine with the HT Trim Kit.
