Had the car up on jack stands yesterday and a little voice whispered "check the torque on the cross members". Pulled out the trusty Snap-On torque wrench and 1/2" socket and went to work.
Well, what do you know...
The big center X-cross member needed a couple bolts snugged but on the front all ten bolts needed a significant amount.
Yes my car occasionally gets driven harder than most but I had no idea the front cross member would loosen like that. No associated noise or handling issue that would suggest the part was not tight.
Everything is back to recommended 47 lbs-ft.
ETA: Bolts on front cross-member were at perhaps HALF recommended torque value OR LESS.
With car on the ground I'm gonna try to re-check torque with suspension loaded. The four bolts under engine are gonna be fun reaching. Time to get small.
Another item for checklist.
