Fredrik, listen to these guys because most of us who have owned these cars have replaced the Coil on plugs (COPS) on our cars. If not it is because they haven't driven them enough. In 104,000 miles on my first Tbird I had every one replaced at least once and number 7 twice. Fortunately I was always under the 100,000 mile Ford warranty on this item. They knew they had a problem but they protected their customers for 10 years or 100,000 miles. Once you have all the COPS changed and new platinum tipped spark plugs you should be good for many more miles!

Maybe they will sell you the parts cheaper in Greece. There may be some parts there in Greece for your car. I think Sweden is probably one of the most expensive countries I have ever visited, higher even than Switzerland. Sales taxes are probably the reason, especially on beer and whiskey. Maybe not on auto parts.sigpic

He had a quote I liked very much, here it goes; "It doesn't pay to complain because half of the people don't even care about your problems, and the other half are probably glad you got what you deserved." It is a good quote for me to remember before I complain to somebody.Last edited by EllisonCal; Jan 30, 2019, 06:13 AM. Reason: I paraphrased my Dad's words. He didn't use English that way, but I cleaned it up for TBN.sigpic

Finaly some steps in right direction for my Bird
Got the new sparkplugs yesterday mounted them today and the car runs on all cylinders
seems like the electrical problem is that something takets the power off the battery When the ignition is turned off so When i have charged My new battery everything works and next day the problem is back
souns like something is buzzing under the dashpanel passengerside When the key is out, it sound like a servo motor that direkt the air channels in the fan system or something like that ( hope you know what i mean dont know what Its called in English
