  • Home Safe and Sound from Pappasito’s Weeke

Home safely to sunny and 83 degree Sarasota from another wonderful Pappasito’s weekend planned by Jeannie and David. Thank you for all your efforts and we sure learned a lot of American history these last 3 days. See everyone in Sarasota in 2020 for “Birds by the Bay”....dates TBD.

Thanks for starting this. We got to the house at 10:00 a.m. I had another lunch commitment for today and headed back out shortly after getting the car unloaded. We enjoyed the whole weekend because we shared it with our Tbird friends. We are looking forward to Minnesota! If you are on Facebook, search for the Best Western Windsor Hotel in Americus. The hotel posted a welcome message. That good looking Merlot in front of the hotel is mine and the red belongs to Ted Sturgeon. If I get a chance, I'll add a link.

We just now pulled into the drive way .
Great event. However there seemed to be a big resurgence of goat stories.. A key piece of TBN folklore

Not home yet... left lunch and drove to Bardstown, Kentucky for the night. After checking weather.com decided the shortest route home would not be the best. Am trying to stay below that icy line and am in Richmond, Virginia for the night.... Hopefully a five hour drive Tuesday and I will be home. For those of you who are aware of my navigator, he checks the weather as well...

If you get to Jersey in the early afternoon, you should probably be OK. Expected to be very messy early.

Got home Monday afternoon around 2:30. Thanks to David and Jeannie for the planning of a great event. Monday morning I ran into rain in West Memphis and it stayed with me all the way home.
Great seeing and visiting with everyone.

Just arrived home... what a lovely wet & sloppy drive that was. Fog in West Virginia was absolutely amazing (and scary as heck in the dark).
