trans vibration while stopped

i have vibration while in drive and stopped at light etc. Goes away if i shift into N. Ideas??

What year, If it is a 02 could be the hydraulic fan

Have you ran over any road humps school zone type raised area in the road? If you did your Bird sets so low the metal members under the transmission can get slightly bent up towards the transmission. When in drive it touches the tranny causing the car to vibrate. I did that once went over one of those areas a little too fast and the car came down on the hump a little bit. I left and started feeling the vibration later. Took my Bird to a Muffler business and they raised the car on a lift. Sure enough found the vibration. He took a tire tool bar and bent the metal member back down where it should be. I left there with no more vibration. Been good ever since.
Mine only vibrated in drive. Smooth in neutral no vibration until I put it in drive.
